“War is hell.”

-William Tecumseh Sherman

War destroys. War creates. It is death, yet from it comes life. Every life is touches, it changes. From the lowliest soldier covered in sweat and blood to the highest king issuing orders from a kingdom away, war’s domain is as vast as it is encompassing. But what happens to those touched by war? Raised in a culture of warriors and soldiers, taught to fight and survive, does one always look for battle or does one find other meaning in life? Do they serve their king, their general or themselves and how long do such loyalties last? Born into war, raised during war, trained for war, whatever becomes of these children, of these men, of these War-Born?
